MEDICAL UPDATE SATURDAY 10:17 PM
Cody is starting his next course of the vibrating vest right now. Twenty minutes every four hours. His blood pressure dropped a touch about 30 minutes ago and they have corrected it with blood pressure medication. His brain pressure was at 20 as I started reading him the latest comments, it is now at 17. Chelsea and Sterling are here and they are keeping the mood light. We had a good time translating the german post.
Cody...... Thinking about you up in Jackson, We know those little legs really are strong so fight your stubborn self through this and i'm expecting a visit soon! Chelsea and Sterling, Jesse and Draven thinking about you all as well! All my love!

Codeman, I was laughing thinking about last week in the Fireman training class. We were partners in the pitch black room and I was SO disoriented! I was holding onto your hand hoping that you would lead us out but then realized that you were as lost as I was! We were trying to yell at each other but could not really talk through the gas masks and ended up just rolling on the floor laughing until the rest of our crew led us out of there! That was awesome haha! I am looking forward to seeing you laugh again. It guess it takes these tough times to evaluate what our friends really mean to us. I have nothing but love for you my man. BE STRONG!

Hang in there! I can't remember a time when Tucker hasn't had a story to tell about you. Whether it was about how you were skiing, where in the world you were, where in the world you were headed, or just how cool of a guy you are. He really is proud to have you as an older brother. It's really cool to see how much he looks up to you and Chelsea. Best of luck with your recovery. See you on the slopes.

Cody you better get well soon, I want to do another stupid bet with you guys after a few beers... maybe next time it will be you wearing the kilt!!
We have a tv presenter here in the UK called Richard Hammond who crashed a rocket car doing a speed of 288mph and also suffered a serious brain injury, he has made a full recovery. If a wimpy tv guy can do it then a crazy ski racer should have nooooooo problems.

I have been praying non stop for you, your family, and your doctors, Cody. The new minister in Pittsfield, Howard Gunter, said he has been inundated with prayer requests for you. So lots of good vibes are out there coming your way through a God much more powerful than we. Accept His gifts, feel His love and be healed. Gary has posted pictures of you around the house and I pray each time I think of you. I was in Rutland yesterday, and everyone I saw was asking about you. So know that there is a lot of love coming your way.

It doesn't surprise me one bit that Chelsea is taking care of Cody like she is. She is the sweetest person you could ever imagine. Your family is one of a kind and I had so much fun getting to know you all in the summers when you were young! And everyone is right. Take care of each other. Last week I met your mom's mom - affectionately known as NaNu... It is quite clear to me now where your inner determination and spirit come from. She is 85 years old - and yet she stood in your mom's kitchen sink and scrubbed the ceiling clean! She washed windows and pulled weeds. And to top it all off - she got into a fight with your cat who was scratching the couch - but she won. She even has a few claw marks to prove it! Keep fighting Cody. You come from good stock! Hi Cody and family-
I have been thinking of you all constantly since hearing about this. It brings me back to when Kelly was hurt and remembering what a tough time the first few days and weeks were. Just remember to take things day by day, moment by moment, and you will get thru it! Cody is lucky to have such a strong and supportive family surrounding him.
Kelly got a card in the hospital that sticks in my head to this day. It said:
"The smoothest way is sometimes full of stones."
I remember that quote helped me thru the hard times. Stay positive and KNOW that everything will be ok. I am thinking of you all!

I was awake off & on all night ... every time I was awake, I was thinking of you, praying that God is with the doctors who are taking care of you & that you are healing more and more... all positive energy to you ... you will make it ... there is so much love surrounding you and being sent to you from all over .. you will make it thru ..
