A PERSONAL NOTE - CHELSEA
Cody-
I know you have been hearing a lot from me and we have been hanging out more than you would probably like. i just wanted to tell you how truly touched and amazed I am to see all the love and support behind you. I admire all your friends that have been hanging out at the hospital all day, only to get to see you for five minutes here and there. They all have been keeping you in line one way or another. Will made sure to tell the nurse to only feed you pizza, pasta, steak and nothing green. They did take a break yesterday to head to TJ's pool. After all it was pool Sunday. Don't worry you still have a better tan than any of them.
I think we all made it to the gym today. It was not easy for any of us. TJ started whining but I kept him in check for you. You would have been proud of Will and Worm, first night we were in the hospital, I think it was around 4am, they got on the floor of the lobby and starting doing abs. I was going to suggest wall push ups but I thought that would have been to much for them to handle. You guys have been slacking on the wall push ups!
Can you please get better already! I promise I will make you chicken soup everyday and I know TJ has been craving chicken fried chicken. You need to make me a new CD too. I have been overplaying the one you gave me and can only listen to Daylight so many times. So get better soon cause we all love you and miss you!! Oh yeah, you will be happy to know that you are a little fatty now. 203lbs, never thought I see the day.
Your favorite sister, much love, xoxo
Thank you everyone for all your support. Sterling, thanks for being around and always making me laugh. Jesse, you are so strong and you make me brave. AJ, thanks for always being there when I need someone to talk to.
I love you all.

Chels,
Dude, good to hear from you! I am not too sure what is harder to believe, that Cody weighs 203, or that Worm was doing abs???
I wish I could be out there with you guys, but am thinking about you and praying for you continually! Keltie is running a Christian camp in Nova Scotia and has all the staff and campers praying for Cody too.
Also, i have become even more addicted to my blackberry (most people thought that wasn't possible), checking for updates constently.
Thanks to you, Jesse, Draven and who ever else is helping with this blog!
Anyway, if you need anything or want to talk give me a call any time.
Lots of love,
Johnny

Chelsea,
It's so great to hear from you! Thanks so much for all the updates. Like Johnny said, our family is completely addicted to our blackberrys in order to get updates about Cody.
I think having Sterling around is probably going to help Cody heal fast because her ridiculous jokes can make just about anyone happy...or annoyed...either way, I'm sure he's going to want to get out of that room. I'm sure you two are keeping the mood light though. I miss you both.
Stay strong guys! We said another prayer for Cody at dinner last night...I think it was 11 of us this time. Sending all of our prayers your way!!
Take care. -Jildo

Chelsea & Family -
Since the moment we heard last week, both of our thoughts and prayers have been with Cody and your entire family. The ski world is an amazingly close group of people – we are so happy, but not surprised, to hear that you have a group rallying around you. Stay strong – as we know you are. We will continue to think of Cody and pray for his quick recovery - let this be a small hiccup in a life full of success.
Found this quote and thought we would pass it on….“those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.’ (Isaiah 40:31).
Sending our love –

Good Evening Marshall Family... It is 11:30pm in VT and I have just finished the entries for tomorrow's swim meet. And guess what? It is going to rain!! Are you surprised? I saw a statistic on the weather portion of the newscast. Since April 25th, it has rained for 13 weeks in a row! And to think we have Districts this weekend.... Chelsea, I hope I can fill your shoes. You are the meet master, the computer guru. And do you know what else you are? You are the definition of the world's greatest sister! Cody is so blessed to have you as his co-pilot throughout this fight. You are an integral part of his healing - you are steadying his wings as he makes his way through this flight towards recovery. I will check back in tomorrow night and let you know the outcome of the swim meet. Have a good evening...

It was great to see all of you back at the gym today. You are taking such great care of Cody, but I am sure when he wakes up he will be thankful that you have been taking care of yourselves as well. Can't wait to see Cody back to the gym with you soon. We'll all be cheering him on then as we are now. We are thinking of him daily and sending love and positive thoughts. Please let me know if you need anything at all and thank you so much for the updates, it is so very appreciated.
Love, Emily

Hi to the Marshall family!
It's been a very long time and sad to think this is what is bringing us in contact again.
I am Matt Berube's mom. He and Jesse were in kindergarten together in Pittsfield VT. I knew Cody when he was very little. A tough little kid and if anyone can get himself out of this, it will be him :>
I am so happy to see all the love pouring out to him.
Best wishes to all of you and a full and quick recovery to Cody!!!!
Judy Berube
