MEDICAL UPDATE MONDAY 9:42 AM
After the blood pressure excitement Cody settled in for a restful night. He is now off all blood pressure medications. His current blood pressure in 150/71. It is on the high side but they are not worried about it unless his ICP builds above 20. Currently it is at 15. His temp is rising again, currently at 37.9. He received another dose of oxycodone and that should help bring down both his heart rate, which is at 108 bpm, and his blood pressure. Overall we continue to be encouraged with his vitals.

Cody, my Mom in France is praying her Irish prayers for you!!

I have been reading all of the comments that folks have been posting. I always thought the kid in Killington who runs around without shoes on in the winter was a rural legend. Glad to have finally gotten to the bottom of that one.

Hey Cody- Bryna is working for me this summer on historic architecture projects (she's at Architecture school at VT Tech) and we each have lit a candle this morning to your quick recovery. It sounds like you are pulling through well. Keep up the good work.

To all the Marshalls,
"...every thought, every wish, gives us all an extra breath to move forward"
I want all of you to know that you should have plenty of extra breaths now (save them for cody!), because Cody is in every skiers thoughts, across the country and most likely around the world. He did a presentation/speech for the BMA athletes at a camp in CO one time, and all I could think of was what a special person he is— polite, generous, hard-working, and a gifted skier. Something like that doesn't go away, and you better believe that ge is going to overcome this like never before, because we all do!
Keep all of your heads up, don't let any doubt come through your mind, even if all seems lost, MIRACLES have happened before and it's about time for a miracle in this country anyway, Cody fits the personality description perfectly!
Thank you for all of the updates, people are HUNGRY for the information!

Cody--I've read every blog and every comment and have come to a few conclusions: 1)the first time I met you I noticed you drove the same car as my niece, jess. (As a matter of fact your car was parked in her driveway with VT plates, so I assumed it WAS her car). that means you must have good taste. 2)some of the comments from your blog are in a different language so I realize everyone around the world is pulling for you, including all of our family. If you didn't know you were special before, I hope you do now 3)the medical reports have been very encouraging, so you must be a fighter and 4) as a mother and aunt to some of your colleagues and competitors, I'm not sure I want to know all the stuff you all do for entertainment, since some of the You-tube videos I've seen, I'm glad I've seen after the fact. Anyway, we're all pulling for you. Keep up the good fight. My thoughts and prayers are sent your way. I'll keep checking the blog to hear what your first words are...Good-luck and have a speedy recovery.
Thank-you Marshall's for keeping all of us posted.

Hey Cody, My wife Jan and I have you and your family in our prayers. Sorry I have no crazy Cody ski stories for you all - I couldn't keep up with any of them (maybe Barb for 2 or 3 runs!) "Scotchy" John Dempsey turned me on to the blog. He sends all his best to you guys. We hope everything continues to improve, and we thank your family for this wonderful site where we can get encouraging news on your recovery!SLADO

Hi Cody, Jesse, Chelsea, Tucker, Barb and Don-
It's encouraging to read the progress reports and all the positive entries to this blog. Sally and I and the girls are all pulling for Cody and thinking about him all the time. Thanks for setting up this blog (Jesse, right-- you did this--not Barb--ha) so we can keep track and give you all some peace and quiet in order to focus your energy on Cody.
All the best,
Steve, Sally, Katie and Hannah
