MEDICAL UPDATE SATURDAY 9:17 AM
Cody is finally watching WALL-E. There is not much change on the medical front this morning. He had no other seizures since yesterday. His vitals are where we want them. He is scheduled for respiratory tests later today to see if he can come off the ventilator. I feel there is more comprehension behind Cody's eyes this morning and he seems to be moving around more. Go Cody Go!

Cody!
We don't know each other but I've been following your progress ever since I heard. Keep up the great work! We're cheering you on in Park City. Go Cody Go!

Go Cody Go!!!!!!! As a Speech-Language Pathologist, I'm very impressed by all that you have been, and are doing, Chelsea & Jesse, to keep his mind busy and thinking. While he definitely needs his rest, too, keep on talking to him and telling him stories.
The #1 best thing for Cody is rest for his brain, and then great stimulation through simple and familiar stories. Things he's heard over and over. You may be sick of it, but Cody will not be. He will amaze you if you just keep the repetition going.
I agree, Jesse. He hears you...he just can't answer back yet. I believe that will come in time.
Cody...keep your mind thinking and visualizing. Think about skiing. The sequencing of getting ready for a race, the thrill, the training, wherever the passion takes you. This will definitely help wake your brain up more in the long run. Run the film Wall-E through you mind over and over again. Keep repeating things over and over in your mind. The words to your favorite songs. Say them over and over again. Say them with the song, then say them slowly with your family.
I believe Cody hears every word. I believe that he feels every emotion in the room, so keep on believing and passing on positive and very hopeful thoughts. You are doing everything right! Keep on doing it!
Go Cody Go!!!!!!!!! You will beat this. I absolutely believe you will!

Cody and Family, I have been following your ordeal and wanted to wish the very best for you all. I recently had a Friend that was t-boned in his Truck. He had serious head injuries but has made an amazing come back. This happened in April and he is back to work after two weeks in a coma. I know that this same outcome is waiting for you all. Your in my prayers and in my thoughts every day. Go Cody, we are all anxiously waiting for you!!!

I don't know Cody, but I've been reading about his progress. My son suffered a TBI in June of '06 as a result of a car accident. He was 16 at the time. His prognosis was grim. He was in a coma for 18 days, and in the hospital for 3 months. Today, Jake has graduated from high school(on time), has earned his driver's license and is living on his own. I can only tell you that the support and prayers of family and friends has made all the difference in his recovery. Cody is strong and young and has great support from you. Those things are going to help him recover beautifully. My thoughts and prayers are with you all!!
