MEDICAL UPDATE TUESDAY 11:21AM
Well, for now I will give you this as I am waiting to talk to the Doctor to give you an accurate medical update.
Cody has been very active and quite feisty. Last night he asked to see his friend will whilst throwing a fit to get him outta here.
and I quote
"Get me outta here" "this is costing money" "Get me outta here"
Like I said he will rise.
Medical update to follow.

Please tell Cody for me that is why he has insurance! Right now he just needs to focus on getting well so he can get the feeding tubes out and stopping giving the nurses hell and start flashing that charming smile he has at them. He can worry about the money later. I agree with the previous post, he is worth every penny. Go Cody go!

Hey Cody!
Way to go! Take it easy on the nurses...they are helping you. As I know from first hand experience, the bad words are the first ones that are the easiest to find. My mom and dad were shocked, but learned to laugh it off after a bit of time.
You really need to rest, so as hard as it is, try to keep yourself calm. The number one BEST THING for your brain and body is rest. As my neurologist says, "The angrier you get, the more 'holes' you are blowing in your brain." So keep the healing going, and avoid the "holes" if you can.
Rest up! There will be a day when you can fight this harder, but right now....just rest up!
Hugs from Colorado!

Hi Cody,
I can relate to the being pissed off. I got knocked out this past winter, when I came too there were people trying to attend to me. As soon as I realized what was going on, I got angry and didn't want any part of it. So I got up and skied away. I didn't want to see the ski patrol, I just wanted to go home.
Next morning I grudgingly went to the hospital and they kept me there for 4 days. I was POed the whole time. I watched the Super Bowl in the hospital.
I was angry for weeks afterwards. I should have kept away from my PC during that period. I sent many very snippy emails out.
My brain must be a sieve now
Being injured is like being on a long flight while being seated in coach between a couple of fat people. Not much you can do but be miserable until it is over.
Look forward to seeing you and your family back in VT.
