MEDICAL UPDATE FRIDAY 1:23 PM
As I sit here writing this Cody is being a little angel and taking anice long nap. I somehow get the feeling that when he awakes he wont besuch an angel when he finds out he cant eat or drink anything foranother few hours while we wait for his angiogram which is scheduledfor sometime later this afternoon.
We were just playing some Yahtzee at which he was totally dominatingme at. He has no fever and his White Blood Cell count is at 13,000which is a 7,000 drop from yesterday where it was at 20,000. And theday before that it was at 28,000 so needless to say he is making hugestrides while back on his antibiotic medicine.
The general plan is to keep him on his antibiotic's for another twoweeks while we fight this infection during which Cody's doctors will dotheir best to find out exactly where it is coming from. If theantibiotic's do their job and Cody is clear of the infection after thetwo weeks then they will replace the portion of his skull that theyremoved and move Cody further on the road to recovery.
Either way he is having another great day. Very talkative and prettystable on his feet when he gets up. It seems like every other minute heis bounding for the edge of his bed so he can get up and walk around.Like I was saying to Draven yesterday, even though he is bed ridden formost of the day you leave his room at night feeling more exhausted thanif you had run a marathon. But every night we leave I always feelbetter than I had the previous night confident that Cody will make afull recovery.
Unfortunately I have to leave tomorrow afternoon so I can go back hometo Vermont and get ready for a ski trip to Chile. The time I got tospend with my big brother was much to short but I know I will see himsoon again and I imagine he will be better than even I expect.

Hey, I'm used to 2 or 3 ThinkCody updates a day, so it's not easy cutting back to just one! The good news these past couple of days makes up for my separation anxiety, but with Draven falling down on the job, maybe Cody can write an update himself now!

don't know whether considering the relationship among these would be helpful:
coagulation, pancreatitis, corticosteroids, mood, triglycerides-cholesterol-fatty foods, splenectomy, white blood cells
