REHAB UPDATE SUNDAY 3:17 PM

Today has been a good day for Cody.

It is his day off from PT so he has been hanging out with Mikkel doing some rehab homework and watching golf for about three hours now. He has some more homework to do in a little bit and then we are going to look through his pictures.

He did really enjoy being outside today since he hasn't been outside in so long. His head starting hurting as this is a peaks and valley issue that will continue we manage it as best as possible. We are looking forward to Chelsea returning tomorrow night and spending some time with us. I missed having her here.

Thank you to everyone especially Kelly for all your feedback. I am looking into everything you have suggested and appreciate the input. All information helps and I will be going over everything with his Dr's this week.

Thank you again,

For Now Until Then,
D-

Hi Cody and Draven! So glad to hear you've had a good day and that you got to go outside! That must have felt good! A day off from PT too! Sometimes you just have to take that break! I remember after ACL surgery (the old style that left zipper scars) In PTI could not for the life of me ride the stationary bike without lifting my hip! I went on a family vacation to Lake Champlain and I kicked and kicked while swimming...When I got back to PT the following week, I got on that bike and I was finally able to do it! Small steps and breaks along the way make all the difference! I know you can do this!!!...I heard a couple of jokes today that I thought I'd share with you...I hope they make you laugh!...

Two Reasons Why It's So Hard To Solve A Redneck Murder:
1.The DNA all matches. 2.There are no dental records...

A blonde calls the airlines and asks,'Can you tell me how
long it'll take to fly from San Francisco to New York City?' The agent replies, 'Just a minute.'
'Thank you,' the blonde says, and hangs up...

A man is recovering from surgery when the nurse appears and asks him how he is feeling. 'I'm OK, but I didn't like the four letter-words the doctor used in surgery'...
'What did he say,' asked the nurse.
    'Oops!!!'

A cattle rancher needs a bull to service his cows and needs to borrow
the breeding fee. The banker lends him the money and comes by later to see how
his investment is doing. The farmer
complains that the bull just eats grass and won't even look at the cows.
The banker tells the farmer that he knows a great vet and he'll send him
over to check the bull out. The banker returns to see if the vet helped. The farmer looks very pleased and tells the banker, "The bull has serviced all my cows, broke through the fence and serviced all my neighbor's cows too!"..."Wow!" says the banker. "What did the vet do to that bull?"..."Just gave him some pills," replies the farmer. "What kind of pills?" asks the banker."I don't know," says the smiling farmer, "but they sort of taste like peppermint!"

While at Starbucks, an old cowboy was enjoying his coffee when a young woman sat down beside him. She turned to the cowboy and asked, 'Are you a real cowboy?'...He replied,'Well, I've spent my whole life breaking colts, working cows, going to rodeos, fixing fences, pulling calves, bailing hay, doctoring livestock and cleaning my barn. Fixing flats, working on tractors, and feeding my dogs, so I guess I am a cowboy.'...
She said,'I'm a lesbian. I spend my whole day thinking about naked women. As soon as I get up in the morning, when I shower, when I watch TV, I think about naked women. It seems everything makes me think of naked women.' The two sat sipping in silence. A little while
later, a man sat down on the other side of the old cowboy and asked, 'Are you a real cowboy?' He replied, 'I always thought I was, but I just found out I'm a lesbian!'...
Have a good night you guys!!!
    Love,

    Cody,
As Ed Sanborn mentioned, there was a nice gathering in Pittsfield yesterday to show you and your family we are all thinking about you. I was the lucky one stuck up in the ladder truck bucket above the treetops on the town green. But I wouldn't call it "stuck" as I enjoyed the view (for 1/2 an hour!) And since summer finally arrived, at 50 feet there was a nice breeze that could not be felt down on the ground!

Everyone really enjoyed seeing your dad and I am sure he has already told you about the gathering. The photo will be on its way to you shortly.

    Go Cody Go!
