MEDICAL UPDATE 1:29 PM
Cody is doing really well. They are controlling his pain better although he does get really bad headaches it is nothing like it was the past couple days. He is up and walking when he feels up to it and it looks like he is on the road slowly but surely to coming home to live with me where we will start outpatient therapy daily and will get him into a daily routine. I am unsure of when this will be yet but it seems to be soon if he continues progressing.
Chelsea and Cody are watching a movie which means they are napping which is good naps are good for the soul. In between being at the hospital, planning his fundraiser, I am trying to get more prepared for his leaving the hospital I wish I had more hands and more hours in the day to get it all done.
I am in the process of making a room up for Cody and trying to find all the things we need at the stores. I got a whiteboard to put up so we have a place for his daily schedule and I can plan the meals everyday to cook. It is important he stick to a routine actually it is important for both and/or all that come and go stick to a routine to have some sense of normalcy.
If I can limit the chaos I will be a happy camper and so will Cody. I will be talking with his Dr. later so I will let you know.

Cody,
Hope that you can get out of the hospital soon, like Draven was saying. Just think of al the nice home cooked meals you will be able to enjoy, plus all of your family, friends, bloggers wil be close to ya, hey----hey.
Good to here that the headaches might be a little more managable, and that you might not have to use the pain meds as much.
Stay strong Cody man, and keep that positve energy flow going. Rock on Dude.

Excellent news on Cody's further recovery. I probably seems like baby steps but I'm sure he's way ahead of many TBI patients which is a tribute to his support staff and Drs. What a relief it will be to leave the hospital!! Keep up the momentum Cody!!

Hi Cody and Draven.
Thank you for the update. That's really brilliant news. Sounds like the headaches are lessening, and that's really key!
Best wishes for many happy naps and a speedy recovery. I put some turns in for you yesterday (on our good old plastic).
Cheers, SBB.
