CODYLAND UPDATE! MON 12:41 AM
Hello again! sorry its been a while between our posts there has been a
lot of things going on here. We have a busy week this week as well....
I started today with an impact test with USSA. This test includes a lot
of memory testing along with other things, so it will be interesting to
see how that went. After I finished with my testing, I was talking with
TJ Lanning when he asked me to come into a room for a minute. This room
was set up for the guys from Spyder to meet up with our athletes about
some of this seasons race gear. Spyder made some awesome stuff for
these guys as always, but I was honored when they pulled up two suits
they made just for me! It was amazing! They took posts and comments
from this blog and have them written on the suit along with 'think
Cody' on the collar. I was really touched by how thoughtful it was of
them and cant wait to put the suit on and boot top some SL gates. So
thank you very much to Phil Shettig and everyone at Spyder!
Training has been going great! I have a strength test this Wednesday with USSA before we leave for California on Thursday. So We will get an idea of where I am at physically and how much work still needs to be done. It continues to be a slow process for me compared to what I'm used to but I continue to feel great and I am enjoying working out again.
For now I'm looking forward to sun, beaches, surfing, girls, and of course seeing Jesse! Next time I write we will be in southern California enjoying normal weather....

Hey Cody:
Have been with you since your accident and while I miss getting daily (sometimes three or two daily in the beginning of the accident), that we hear from you less lets us know how well you are progressing with building up your body and getting yourself back to where you want to be. It's a miracle your recovery and always remember that. I'm sure you've heard it from so many of us who have prayed for you and sent loving thoughts to your family these past few months. Getting your email this morning puts a big smile on our faces and a happiness you are doing so well. Keep it up.

You've conquered the headwall, nailed the compressions turns and are tucking for the finish line in terms of Recovery. I am impressed with your progress! God's Speed to Cody the Ski Racer!

Cody Man,
Coach "Woody" here from Michigan. It looks like you are working very hard and
progressing at a pace that you for sure can handle. I am so glad to see that our US Ski Team is much in support of you and the journey to get back with all of your friends on the team, as well as your friends on the "White Circus", (World Cup).
Have fun with your strength tests today, and show em how much you can lift aye. You truly have come a long way. Have fun in California with your family, friends. Take the sunscreen.! And way to go Spyder, that is awesome Cody.
