CALIFORNIA UPDATE -- CODY THURSDAY 6:00PM....OVER THE HUMP...

Another beautiful day in California. There is not much on my schedule today so I am going to take the time to head down to the pool, lay in the sun and read a little. Yesterday I went to borders for a while to get some books to help me with my cognitive function, short term memory, and general bran fitness to help things move along. With the area of my brain that was injured I am supposed to have problems with short term memory and procedural memory. I have noticed great improvement in these areas in just the last few weeks, so that's exciting for me.

Chelsea just finished up a trip to Austria. She was training at Pitztal which is one of my least favorite places to go for early season training. There was not a lot of snow in Pitztal but they managed to get off a successful camp and she is excited to be  flying home today. She called me at 3:30am today to check in. Seems like an odd hour to call but I am just about to head to bed around then so it was fine.

I hope everyone is well. I will check in with you guys tomorrow.

Cody

    CODY-

Thanks for the updates. LOVE reading them. Snowed last night here in VT up on Bragg Hill above GMVS. We are not ready for winter just yet, but will be by Nov.

Very cool about Nickerson and I hope he qualifies and has two great runs on Sunday. Thinking of waking up at 3:30am to watch the Gals first run live.

Hope to see you sometime soon in VERMONT. We all miss you here.

    Cody,

The beach sounds awesome right about now, since it has been pouring rain here in Michigan the last 24 hours. Don't forget the sunscreen. Maybe a few of those beach bunnies could help get the sunscreen on, hey---hey.

I hope your friend Nickerson gets to race on Sunday, and get some money, plus the win and or a nice podium. And hopefully you will be making some turns with him. Good to see that you will be able to hang out with Chelsea again.

Keep working hard Cody Man, and help keep Draven busy, aye. Seeeee Ya!

Hey Cody- I am so sorry i have been so lax in writing you! I have been keeping up daily though and I am so psyched that your are doing so well. We in VT have been a routing for you big time and again we are so impressed with your recovery ... i am sure it is because you have so many people that believe in your caregivers and your family is incredible and of course the ski world
has lots of power. I am a true believer in the POWER OF ONE, Mr Cody Marshall! So you keep on going, you have come so far and we all are cheering for you big time..

Much love and positive thoughts coming your way.
